Tuesday, the 21st April

First of all, we had to prepare our luggage and set in order our rooms. About 10 a.m., we had to place the luggage in the school bus and we went in souvenir shops of Lloret. After that, we went to the restaurant where we ate delicious paella!

After the meal, we spent time on the beach of Lloret, it was the last moment at Lloret de Mar.

About 2 p.m., we left Lloret to go to Figueras where we visited the Dali’s museum. The museum was crowded and it was difficult to visit it quietly. Through his museum, you can see that Dali was an odd person. On every work of Dali, you can research different significations for hours!

We left Figueras at 6 p.m. to go back to Chimay where we arrived at 10 a.m.
This trip was really beautiful, I spent time with fantastic people and I’ll never forget this school trip!!! :)

Monday, the 20th April

Monday, we went to Barcelona once again and we began the day by the visit of the Park Güell designed by Gaudi. This park is very nice and very big but there were still too much people and display of jewels, gadget… in it. The constructions of the park are very colorful and attractive! This day, the weather was really beautiful and we ate in the Park.

Afternoon, we visited the Sagrada Familia, the cathedral of Barcelona, who is another creation of Gaudi. The Sagrada is under construction yet but I was really impressed by the magnificence of this building. The architects hope the end of the construction for 2026.

Finally, we went to “Las Ramblas” who is a long street of 2 km and where you can find lot’s of typical Spain stalls. But girls’ preferred go shopping in beautiful shops of Barcelona! :) Marie, Amélie, Céline C, Julie and me found our ball dress!! ^^

This night, a big part of the group stayed quietly to the hotel while 6 of us let our hair down in a great discotheque of Barcelona! It was a very good night!

Sunday, the 19th April

Sunday, we went to Barcelona. The first visit of our trip was the Miro foundation. Miro is a fantastic artist and I had appreciated a lot this visit, unfortunately we couldn’t take photo.

Then, we went see the Olympic Stadium, it’s very big!

After, we went to the “Spanish Pueblo” where we ate. On this place, you can find all the different styles of architecture of Spain. This place is very warm, you can see lots of small traditional shops and you can sunbathe in the joy and in the good mood. :)

Finally, we visited “La Pedrera” who is one of buildings designed by Gaudi. This building is gigantic and very special. For example, you can see that all the walls of this building are round; there aren’t any corners in the walls.

In the evening, we spent time on the beach of Lloret de Mar,

it was Pauline’s birthday and we celebrated that!

This evening was the best of the trip!

Saturday, the 18th April

When we arrived to Lloret de Mar, our rooms weren’t yet clean. So, we ate and waited near the swimming pool of the hotel.

Afternoon, when our rooms were prepared, we set down our suitcase and we went visit Lloret de Mar and the beach, the weather was beautiful!

In the evening, we went to a cocktail bar next to the beach, we tasted “Pina Colada”, “Sex on the beach”, and others cocktails. We were all together and the atmosphere was great!

My school trip: Let's go to Barcelona!

We left Belgium in school bus on Friday the 17th April at 6 p.m. The journey was very long and we were a bit tired because it was very difficult to sleep in the bus. But, when we arrived the 18th April at 11 a.m. to Lloret de Mar, the beach resort where we lived, we were very excited!

Hello everybody!
I'm Adeline Jacquelot. I was 16 years old. I live in Belgium in a small village called Macon. I was born in Chimay on the 26 th March in 1992.
Chimay is a small town at five minutes from my village. Prior to going to a secondary school, the St-Joseph College of Chimay, I studied at the primary school of Macon.
I'm currently a last year student at high school. I pass this year's exams, I will get my high school diploma. Next year, I would like to syudy interior designing at a university, I need to pass an adission exam in September. If I succeed, I'll have to move to Brussels and rent a flat near the university.
My hobbies are dancing, tennis, music, shopping and travelling. I have already travelled to Egypt, France, Spain, Italy, Great Britain, Austria and Switzerland.
However, I have always dreamt of travelling to Greece. In addition, I love to go skiing. My proudest moment was when we were skiing with some friends on black ski pistes and doing off-pistes-skiing shortly after having learnt.
My motto is:" When we want, we can!" Yes, we can!
